1. Return/Exchange/Refund Timeline
I offer a transparent and customer-friendly return/exchange/refund timeline. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days from the date of purchase. I believe this timeframe strikes a balance between allowing you sufficient time to evaluate your purchase while also ensuring a fair policy for my business.
2. Acceptable Item Conditions
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be in its original condition, including all tags and packaging (if applicable). Refunds are issued upon receipt of the returned item, or if the item is not received upon receiving proof of return postage, so please retain postage receipts until I confirm the item has arrived. (These contain tracking information which I can use to recover costs after issuing your refund, even if sent via standard mail.)
3. Refund and Shipping Charges
I understand the importance of transparent and fair refund and shipping charges. This policy aims to be reasonable. I am unable to offer free shipping on returns, so the customer will be responsible for shipping the item back. However I do absorb the original cost of shipping the item to you, and my transaction fees for the sale, which I don’t get back. In other words, you will receive the full amount paid in the refund, assuming all the above conditions are met. (The only time this won’t apply is if returning part of an order, in which case the refund will either be for the item cost only, or for the item cost and a portion of the shipping cost depending on the weight of the item.)
For refunds, I offer the following options:
Replacement/Exchange: We’ll replace the item with a different item as per your preference, subject to availability.
Money Refund: We’ll return the cost of the item to the original payment method used for the purchase, as either a full or partial refund as per the above.
4. Items Not Eligible for Refund/Return/Exchange
Custom/Personalized Products: Items that have been specifically customized or personalized for the customer, e.g. signed copies of books.
Products Sold as Part of Sets/Bundles: Items sold as part of a special-deal set or bundle, or where individual items may not be eligible for exchange.
Digital downloads: Digital products such as ebooks or audiobook files cannot be refunded once accessed by the customer.
